When to Buy

• In essence if you have not got an extended car warranty, anytime is the right time.
• If your vehicle is still under manufacturer’s warranty then purchase an extended car warranty approximately one month and 1,000 miles before it runs out. You will then be covered while the waiting period is in effect. All direct buy car warranties have at least a 30 days and 1,000 mile waiting period.
• BUY an EXTENDED CAR WARRANTY especially if your vehicle is over 80,000 miles when costly breakdowns are likely to occur. If you have over 100,000 miles you are even at higher risk by not having a CAR WARRANTY.
• If you wait to buy your car warranty you might have to pay more because as repair prices go up so will warranty prices.
