IMPORTANT TIPS BEFORE PURCHASING A WARRANTY

  • Installments at “0″ percent interest may not really be interest free – see the previous section for details.
  • Do not succumb to Pressure selling and always ask for the FINAL PRICE and avoid “STICKER SHOCK” . You will often be quoted the monthly installment and number of payments you will need to make. Do not get hooked before knowing the final price.
  • You will not be subject to HIGH PRESSURE sales tactics or misleading information.
  • With INSURED AUTO WARRANTY there is no BS.

WHAT WARRANTY TERMS MEAN

Know what the term “BUMPER to BUMPER” means. It is common to use this term in the industry to describe an “EXCLUSIONARY” WARRANTY. The definition of an exclusionary warranty is one where the parts covered are too many to list and only the parts NOT covered are listed. This is the BEST warranty available and is almost the same as the manufacturer’s warranty.

Exclusionary warranties are usually offered for newer and lower mileage vehicles.

Older or higher mileage vehicles are eligible for “COMPONENT” coverage. This is when the components covered are listed and any part NOT listed is NOT covered.

Ask to see the actual contract and make sure that the name of the Insurance company is stated on the contract itself.
